  1. This picture, quite simple in it's way, won a pictorial trophy in
  2. our major local camera club. I thought there were better
  3. pictures, but I'm sure it was the idea that actually won. All the
  4. other work was 'conventional'.

  6. The picture was produced under the enlarger and is a composite
  7. print made by printing through a hole in a card - the girl - and
  8. then shielding that area using a piece of card on a wire whilst
  9. printing the main picture.

  13. In each case, the cards were kept moving slightly during exposure
  14. to achieve a smooth joint.

  16. Planning is needed here, and there is always the chance of
  17. getting it wrong.
